On January 24th and 25th 2018, the "Province, Mary Star of the Sea" in Indonesia held a cultural encounter, organized by the "Foundation for education, Divine Providence Sisters ”. The theme was "Cross Culture Enrichment of the international congregation of the Sisters of Divine Providence". This event took place in Kebon Dalem 2 elementary school, (on the 24.01.) and at the High School in Kebon Dalem (on the 25.01) in Semarang. Students from Jakarta in Central Jawa participated also.
Through colors, figures, music, dances and songs, as well as through culinary snacks and the exhibition of creative scientific experiments, students from the kindergarten up to the secondary school level let us see something of the great Indonesian cultural wealth. It was just wonderful and so beautiful!
Delightful was also the display of elements from the history, geography and culture our countries of origin: Germany, the Netherlands, Brazil and Malawi. Much work and actual research had been put into it!
