In the mother and child hospital in Bong Sari Semarang, a snack bar was opened on 28thOctober 2016. It was inaugurated by the Jesuit Father Hardoputranto, at the same day. In his sermon Father Hardoputranto said: "On the Notice-Board we read: “Snack bar, healthy and tasty” that means, this snack bar offers to its guests only healthy food. Healthy eating consists of natural food without additives or other harmful ingredients to improve the taste. The staff members of this snack bar should remember that this contributes to the health of the guests".
Sr. Klarista, the Indonesian Provincial Coordinator, gave informed that the snack bar and coffee shop has been established by the Sisters of Divine Providence to promote the cooperation between the people and the sisters. In the surroundings of the snack bar and coffee shop there are several small business women, who have little enterprises there; but they have not yet adequate possibilities to sell their goods. The snack bar will help them to sell their things. The condition is: that they must deal only with healthy food, i.e. without additives or other unhealthy ingredients.
