In the restructuring process: ‘on the way to a single Province in Latin America’ we were able to take important steps in September 2019. The three Latin American commissions - for the Mission Formation, Spirituality and Management - held important meetings to deepen topics and plan. The mysticism of Bethany shed light on these moments of encounter. Essential issues from the Providence Sisters being on the move in Latin America, and from the entire Congregation on the way to the General Chapter/2020, were also looked at.
In addition to the exchange of faith experiences and reflection on specific topics of each Commission, current topics were also on the agenda, such as the Extraordinary Month of the World Mission and the Amazon Synod.
Thus, the unification process becomes a reality step by step. We thank Divine Providence for its grace and light in guiding the processes in our Congregation.
