Based on the theme “Confidently let us go out in order to defend life in a mystic-prophetic religious life!” and the motto "Mary stood up immediately and went to Jesus", we carried out the provincial chapter. During these days, we felt the working of the Holy Spirit, who enlightened us on the reflections and decisions and at the same time, guided us into a process of discernment.
Through our theological adviser, Sr. Annette Havenne, ism, we were prompted to go the ways with Jesus. So, we revised e.g. some ways in taking up again our Mission, searching for signs of resurrection on the way of formation, and, following our Charisma, to recognize the names and faces of the impoverished and excluded … In the light of the anointing of Bethany, we made the spiritual discernment in faith; this was a beautiful process, blessed by God.
In this process, and in an attitude of openness and generosity, the Sisters Beatriz Zanatta (provincial leader/coordinator), Maria José de Lima, Leni Stahl, Joana Mensor and Sueli Maria Tavares gave their ‘Yes’ to animate and enliven the way of the Holy Trinity Province in the coming five years.
Thanks to the whole congregation that prayed for the success of this provincial chapter.
