“Calling together, celebrating, rejoicing”…
The representatives of the provinces and regions precisely have seen that in Münster and in other places in Germany, the Netherlands and Luxemburg during the anniversary celebration of the congregation from October 26 until November 3rd, 2017.
On November 4, early in the morning, the group travelled to Rome, full of anticipation to hear the catechesis, the Angelus prayer and to receive the blessing from Pope Francis on 5th November. It moved and touched them deeply, as Pope Francis - among others - welcomed our congregation with the words: "así como a las Religiosas Hermanas de La Divina Providencia que celebran los 175 Años de la Fundación de su instituto".
The following days were filled with visits to various holy places in Rome and Assisi. In midst the admiration, songs, praise, thanks-giving, and intercessions for the congregation, for the family members and the whole of humanity, were not lacking.
On November 8th, all returned to their respective provinces and regions. According to the sisters, they went home with grateful hearts for having had the possibility of participating in such an intensive jubilee celebration of the congregation.
