The ‘Mother of Providence’ province, with its headquarters in Porto Alegre/RS, Brazil, has reason to celebrate!
On the 25 November 2018, after an intensive "vocation week", the Catholic parish of Salvador do Sul/RS and especially the family of Sr. Daiane Aline Ertel whole-heartedly took part in the celebration of the eternal vows of Sr. Daiane.
The Eucharistic Celebration, presided over by the Bishop of Montenegro/RS, Dom Carlos Rômulo, was held in the parish church of Três Santos Mártires das Missões. 70 sisters of Divine Providence, family members, friends and parishioners were present.
After Holy Mass, everyone gathered together for lunch in the great Hall of the parish.
There was also time for nice encounters, typical German dances, various presentations and the traditional dance "Polonese" (Polonaise).
The whole day was marked by joy and gratitude to God, who constantly calls us and shows Himself lovingly and effectively in our life and in the vows, the ‘Yes’, of Sr. Daiane.
We praise God for the courageous and generous Vows of Sr. Daiane in the Congregation of the Sisters of Divine Providence. May Jesus – who is the Way, the Truth and Life – and who called Sr. Daiane to be His disciple and now commissioned her anew, grant her the necessary graces for her onward journey. Thus, she will be able to continue to be a sign of the loving and providential presence of God to the people.
