„Fear not, for I have called you by your name, you are mine.” (Isaiah 43,1) These words accompanied Sister Deusimar dos Santos Lima during her formation process of following Jesus Christ as a Sister of Divine Providence.
In Timon, a small town in the interior of the State of Maranhão, Northern Brazil, Sister Deusimar pronounced her perpetual vows on 5th February 2017. Bishop Vilson Basso was the Chairman of the celebration, in which, besides Sister Inês Pretto - Provincial Coordinator-, also other sisters, priests, family members and the people of the home community participated.
It was a moving celebration of strong faith, simplicity and joy. We are very happy with the testimony of Sister Deusimar that she gave with her ‘Yes’ and wish her the blessing of the Holy Trinity.
