An inter-congregational retreat took place at the Provincial house in Florianópolis from the 23rd to 30th May 2017. These days stood under the theme: "Following Jesus Christ as a Sister of Divine Providence, who creates life". This retreat was given by Sr. Dionice Corrêa de Lyra (from Curitiba), Sr. Jacira Maria dos Santos and Sr. Rosiléa Aparecida Maia and 40 sisters participated.
At the end of the retreat, during the closing ceremonies, Sr. Eliete Ferreira dos Santos received with joy and gratitude her new assignment to the "Mission of Divine Providence" in Mozambique. On 3rd June, a second celebration took place in her community in Trindade, where she was sent out to her new Mission during a Eucharistic celebration.
Sr. Eliete departed on June 05. In Mozambique, she received a warm, happy and festive welcome from the people and the sisters.
