Sister Vitalina (Olinda Ochner), born on May 27, 1919, celebrated with gratitude her 100th birthday. The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Fr. Marcondes Martins Barbosa at 10:30hrs. Present were sisters from various communities of Curitiba, relatives and employees who previously worked with sister Vitalina as well as staff have who care for her now.
The homily by Fr. Marcondes was very touching - he said: Sister Vitalina is God's House, God's tent and she is wearing this sanctuary for hundred years by now.
After the Eucharistic celebration all were welcomed, and then there was a delicious lunch which also Fr. Volnei Carlos de Campos, the parish priest of St. Augustinus, attended. A very nice surprise was the chorus of our postulants, they sang songs of praise.
