On June 21, 2017 Sister Carlinda Kauling became 100 years old.
The thanks-giving ceremony for her 100th birthday was held on June 24 in the chapel of the House Divine Providence in Trindade, Florianópolis, Brazil. Many sisters and relatives of Sister Carlinda took part in this Eucharistic celebration.
We praise and glorify the Holy Trinity for the gift that is Sr. Carlinda for all of us is. For us Sisters of Divine Providence, it is also a grace and joy to be able to celebrate this special birthday in the Jubilee year of our congregation.
Dear Sr. Carlinda, thank you for your testimony, for your being in our midst and for the joy that you always radiate as a consecrated woman. Thank you that you belong to our congregation and thus being enrichment to our history!
With the word from the Psalm 138(139), 14, we express our praise and thanks: "I thank you that you have made me so wonderfully".
