On 7 November, Sister Isaura celebrates her 100th birthday! In the community, the date was commemorated already on 29 October. Here now is a report of that day: “Celebrating life means, to recognize the goodness of God in our life. The community of the home Nossa Senhora do Perpétuo in Lages, Province Curitiba, made this experience at the celebration of life of Sr. Isaura. The highlight of the day was the Eucharistic Celebration, with about 150 guests: the celebrant P. Hermes Tonine, Sisters, Family members, friends and employees. On this occasion, congregational songs were sung and Sr. Leni accompanied it on the organ. After the traditional song:”Happy birthday to you...” and many good wishes, the birthday cake was cut and shared. It was amazing and gratifying to see how Sr. Isaura followed everything very attentively and fully alert. For every person who came to congratulate her, she had a smile ready and said a word of thanks.”
