On November 24, 2019, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of the messengers of Divine Providence in northeastern Brazil. The celebration included a moment of prayer, a meal together and a Eucharistic celebration. More than 80 messengers and some friends of the Sisters of Divine Providence were present.
Here in the city of Sao Paulo do Potengi, which belongs to the state of Rio Grande do Norte, there are the largest number of messengers of Providence. Their work is to contribute to the evangelization of the parishes through home visits, rosary prayers (Rosary of Divine Providence) and as far as possible caring for people in need. From this group a vocation has already come to us: Sr. Ana Rackel, a Junior Sister.
The support received, especially from the Holy Trinity Province, is fundamental for the spread and strengthening of this work.
Gratitude was the strongest feeling at this celebration.
