It wasn't easy at this time. We wanted to gather together with our 4 sisters Srs. Marcellina, Marita, Jeannetti and Magdalien, who celebrated their 60th anniversary on 08-09-2020. We usually do this in Boxmeer together with our sisters, who live there in the old people's home. That was not possible now. In Blerick, Sr. Marcellina invited her group and some individual persons from outside. We met there in the chapel, where we said praise and thanks to God in a beautiful prayer-communion-service which Sr. Cornelia had prepared. After this celebration we met in the living room to congratulate and to be happily together with coffee and cake. The jubilee sisters, together with the group from Blerick, met afterwards in a restaurant for lunch.
Barely two weeks later we met again to congratulate Sr. M. Desiree to her 65th anniversary of religious life. We prayed together and with a nice gathering afterwards, we made a nice new start. For a group that is getting smaller and smaller, it is important to find and use possibilities that bind us together. Sr. M. Desiree is 90 years old now but still young in heart and with a lot of humors at times. With a rich and festive lunch in Blerick, also this day became an unforgettable celebration.
