Happy News from the Mission in Mozambique
On 17th February 2018 the Mission of the Sisters of Divine Providence in Mozambique and indeed the entire Congregation experienced a very significant moment: the entrance of the candidates Maria Lázaro and Eliza Wiarade into the Postulate.
The celebration took place in the house of the Sisters in Entre Lagos. Among those present were the Sisters of the community, also Sr. Prisca Phwandaphwanda and Sr. Helena Mkaka from the Region Malawi, as well as Sr. Maria Rita Xavier Mendes from the General Coordination, the parents of two young women, other candidates and leaders of the Mission.
After the entrance celebration dinner was offered, and the postulants were welcomed as is customary in their culture.
Sr. Celéria Gabriel, Sr. Laudeci Ouriques de Souza and the postulants are members of the formation community in Nampula. Sr. Laudeci returned recently to Mozambique and was warmly welcomed.
Praise to God for these vocations and for this new beginning!
