Happy Easter!
Dear Sister!
United in faith in God's faithfulness and united by the same charism, we can once again celebrate the Paschal Mystery. We invite you to take a look at the photo of the sky of Münster at the Aasee.
Dear Sister!
United in faith in God's faithfulness and united by the same charism, we can once again celebrate the Paschal Mystery. We invite you to take a look at the photo of the sky of Münster at the Aasee. In it, we perceive life in motion: on land, in the water, in the clouds, in the sun, in the sky, in the play of light and colors, in the birds, in the people who contemplate this magical moment, even if we do not see them.
Look at this sign as a whole: a wide and beautiful stylized "tent" that extends beyond the space that our eye can reach. A tent that is welcoming and accommodating every creature. It is a symbol of pilgrimage and travel, but also a sign of God's presence.
In this sign we sense the living presence of the One who loved to the full. From the one who said of himself: "I am the light of the world!" From Him, who assures us that after every night a new morning dawns. From Him who, like the disciples of Emmaus, makes us ask: "Stay with us, for evening is falling; the day has already passed.“ (Lk 24, 28)
In this liturgical time, let us contemplate the suffering and death of Jesus! But let us remain searching, on the way, without stopping at the empty tomb.
In the biblical texts, which, as in John 20 and Luke 24, tell of the resurrection of Jesus and their encounter with the Risen One, we find the confirmation that the Risen One moves us to go on, despite doubt and darkness. It is the way in which we encounter Him. In our daily life and mission, let us live the mysticism and prophecy of the "MARYS", the "women of dawn", to whom Jesus appeared on Easter morning. For those people, who are "crucified" today, who mourn and are hopeless, let us be bearers of the Good News by proclaiming the Good News of Christ's RESURRECTION! The pains and sufferings of humanity, which also affect us, are manifold. This is a particularly important time to witness that Christ carries the cross with us and that life will triumph!
Let us allow ourselves to be touched by the faithful love of Mary Magdalene and the burning hearts of the disciples of Emmaus!
Let us ask with one voice: "Give us Easter eyes, so that we may see the Risen One among us.!“
Don't fear! Peace be with you! Rejoice! Happy Easter!
This is what the Sisters of the General Coordination wish you.
