The Province of Cuiabá, based in Mato Grosso, Brazil, celebrated the anniversary of the Congregation in two moments:
The first was in each Community, in a very creative way: day of retreat, celebration of the Eucharist with the people, community prayer – among the Sisters and with some lay people, a fraternization meal.
The second moment, at the Province level, took place on the 11th and 12th of November, during the last Provincial Assembly. This one had as its theme: “Rescue the journey as a Congregation - 180 years, 59 years of Mission in Mato Grosso and 32 years of Espírito Santo Province.”
The assembly had three moments: 1) Presentation of the rescue of the walk, for decades. 2) Celebration of thanksgiving, with the participation of the Sisters and lay people with their families. 3) Fellowship. Words cannot describe what was experienced. All we can do is say thank you and say: “You went and you are going ahead of us, showing the direction!”
