The Province of Holy Trinity in Curitiba/PR, celebrated the 180th anniversary of the Congregation with Mass of Thanksgiving, presided over by Fr. Marcondes Martins Barbosa, at 10:30 am. Present were the Sisters of the Provincialate, Sisters of the Communities of Curitiba and collaborators of the Provincialate. After the Mass, there was a fellowship lunch.
As part of the Jubilee celebration, each community made its concrete gesture of solidarity. The Communities of the Provincialado distributed, near the Municipal Market of Curitiba, 50 lunchboxes.
The reality of Brazil is stark, the 50 lunchboxes were not enough for those who were on the sidewalks and hungry.
On the 13th of November, on the occasion of the Provincial Assembly, we will hold another celebration of praise and thanksgiving for the 180th anniversary of the Congregation, with the presence of approximately 75 Sisters, messengers of Divine Providence, managers of Saint Rose of Lima College (from Lages /SC) and the Holy Family Hospital and Maternity (from Saint Benito of the South/SC) and some friends.
Dear Sisters, we give thanks for All what the Lord has given us in these 180 years of history! TO HIM ALL PRAISE AND ALL THE GLORY.
