"Word" and "Hands" - two terms that strongly influence the everyday work of the Secretariat - were accentuated in prayer and in the integration dynamics at the beginning of the Secretaries meeting which took place at the Provincial house in Curitiba on 10th-11th May 2017.
The Secretaries of the provinces and region of Latin America, Sr. Sirlei and Sr. Maria Rita - of the team "Aliança" (who also is a member of the General Coordination), Sr. Cecília Becker and Sr. Luzia Koch from the General Secretariat of the Congregation, participated in this meeting.
These were two intense days with various activities: Exchange of experiences, information about the General Secretariat and directions for a good cooperation, information about the process of a new structure for the Providence Sisters in Latin America, reflection on the theme "Communication as a way of integration and communio", reflection on the numbers 152 and 187 of our Constitutions (which deal with work in the Secretariat).
The meeting ended with a visit to the Sisters of the community of Aliança.
All this, the being together and the spontaneous dialogue contributed towards taking up again our Mission to work at the Secretariat with renewed passion. For this we are very grateful.
