“Until all is leavened“.
With this motivation, in the light of document No. 105 of the Episcopal Conference of Brazil, (Christian lay people in the Church and in society) the 2nd Latin American meeting on sharing the Divine Providence Charisma and Spirituality with “Non-Members” (Laity) took place in the provincial house of the Heart of Jesus Province in Florianópolis, from 19-20 June 2018. The days were of a deep unity and of a significant experience of the love of God. Sisters and lay people from the Provinces of Florianópolis, Curitiba and Porto Alegre, and of the Region Montes Claros participated.
It is necessary to keep alive the charism and spirituality of Divine Providence for the lay people, who contribute in the congregation towards the building up of the Kingdom of God that is present among us.
With the willingness and generosity of the ‘Messengers of Divine Providence’ and the lay people, who are involved in various places of the congregation, Institutions and in places of Social work, Sisters together with the Lay people are searching for a common way, with common references that give direction to our working.
May the merciful God guide sisters and lay people on their joint way, so that the dimension of a church-on-the-move will be strengthened and all may be salt of the Earth and light of the world (see Mt 5, 13-14).
