With joy, we greet you from Novo Triunfo/Bahia, Brazil!
"Baptized and sent" this is the theme that we want to deepen in the 23 communities of the St. Peter’s parish to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
This experience belongs to our formation process as junior Sisters in Latin American. We have arrived here on 15th July and on 29th July we shall return to our provinces.
More than 10 years ago, the Sisters of the province of Curitiba began their mission here. The effect of the Providence sisters is clearly felt in this parish. This is also perceived on part of the Church and of the people. The people have a great appreciation and thanks for the dedication and contribution of the Sisters of Divine Providence.
In the evening on the 16th July, we had a celebration to begin with the work in the community of "Our Lady of Divine Providence".
The junior Sisters, who participate in this Mission experience, are: Sr. Ana Rakel, Sr. Elis,
Sr. Viviane, Sr. Maria de Nazaré, Sr. Vanesa, Sr. Martha, Sr. Cleomar, Sr. Josileide and
Sr. Ingrid. Sr. Joana and Sr. Mª Eloní coordinate these days.
The following sisters form the community of Nossa senhora da Esperança in Novo Triunfo: Maria de Lourdes, Niuva and Imelda Oechsler.
Let us pray for the sisters and for all the people who will have the ability to experience God’s providential love through various activities in these days: through the family visits, the blessing of the houses, the church services, the Youth day, the Retreat with the adolescents and young people, who are preparing for confirmation.
