We have completed the first week of the congregational Council! It was an intensive and enriching week … on the road to Bethany, to the community loved by Jesus!
The focus of the activities and deliberations was the process of updating our Constitutions, as well as two other important moments for us Sisters of Divine Providence:
1) A brief look at the current reality of Indonesia with the help of a lecture from Father Albertus Bagus Laksana, SJ;
2) A panel discussion on Apostolic religious life in the continents. A representative from each of the four continents, where we are present, gave her contribution; while we had also the theological advice from Father B.S. Mardiatmadja, SJ.
GRATITUDE was the feeling that came quite strongly through in the short evaluation on Saturday afternoon.
