Since 13 January 2025 we are gathered in Curitiba, Brazil, for our 30th General Chapter, whose theme is: "As pilgrims of hope, in the power of the Risen Christ, we care for life today".
So far, we have experienced intense days of sharing and seeking. We feel guided and supported by God and uplifted by the prayerful communion of many people.
On 23rd January we began the discernment process with a view to electing the new General Coordination Team. We were invited to pray, like our Founder, Father Eduard Michelis: “Come, Holy Spirit, renew the face of the earth. Live in our hearts, kindle in us the fire of your love. Teach us how to pray, help us in our weaknesses, comfort us with your presence, give us a pure, genuine heart...”
On 24rd January, in an attitude of openness to the divine light, in a movement of prayer and personal reflection, joint search, dialogue, and mutual listening, we elected the General Coordination Team for the 2025-2030 term:
