Jesus, God's beloved son is sharing our life up to the last consequence. His love for us, to anyone, goes up to the extreme, up to the execution on the cross. In the cross, so we believe, Jesus is carrying all the severity of this world, all burdens of humanity, all guilt and Sin, our load and concern. He lets himself be penetrated by it.
"When I am lifted up on the cross, I will draw all to myself." (Jn 12, 32)
Jesus draws us in his merciful love into his heart. His love flows through us with healing power and makes us open and permeable. And so the cross becomes the radiant, living center of all life, our life, a sign of hope, especially also for people who carry a heavy cross.
We may entrust ourselves to this love and be transformed always anew by it, and so become ourselves messengers of redeemed life.
Dear Sisters, we wish that you can tune into the Paschal Joy, that we are able to live from the strength and love of the Risen Lord, who knows our life crosses, who will become our light and who will make us His witnesses of merciful love.
