Journey to Luxemburg
The long-awaited 28th October, 2017 has arrived! For the first time, the sisters, who take part in the anniversary celebrations of our congregation, could enter the "holy ground" of Luxembourg. Luxembourg is the country that accepted Eduard Michelis in March 1845; here, he worked for 10 years and here, he died on 8th June 1855 and was was buried.
Being deeply touched, moved, feelings of gratitude, joy and praise to the God of Providence were expressed. Petitions to alleviate the great needs of our time and being in union with the sisters worldwide: those feelings and attitudes were clearly noticeable during the prayers and songs at the grave of our founder.
Then there was also still time to visit other places or important "stations" of the life of E. Michelis, such as the Cathedral and St. Michael's Church.
