On March 11, Laetare Sunday in the Season of Lent, the Generalate community experienced the great joy of celebrating the silver anniversary of Sister Maria Rita Xavier Mendes.
The celebration stretched out over the whole day: it began with the Eucharistic Celebration, over which Dr. Feiter, a befriended priest, presided; then being together as community and friends, enjoying the delicious Lunch and coffee in the afternoon; later we closed the day with common prayers.
We are grateful for the presence of representatives from the German province, from the Dutch Community, and for the life testimony of Sr. Maria Rita and her service to the whole Congregation.
