Last week, the Secretariat of the German Bishops Conference sent the following good News to Sr. Márian, our General Coordinator:
“Dear Sister Márian Ambrosio, at the suggestion of Adveniat and the DOK the “World Church Conference” (weltkirche.katholisch.de) has at their last meeting on March 12, 2018 for the current period, which ends on December 31, 2020, delegated you into the Ecumenical Latin-American Commission (ÖLAK). / … / The Chairman of the "World Church Conference", Archbishop Dr. Schick, thanks you for your willingness to work with this Commission and wishes you to do this with much joy and God’s blessings.”
On the same topic, Sr. Agnesita Dobler, General Secretary of the German Conference of General Superiors wrote on April 04, among other things:
"Dear Sister Márian, we are very pleased that a religious sister with Latin-American roots brings in her experiences into this forum for the DOK. On behalf of the Board of Directors of the DOK, I am grateful to you for the willingness to undertake this task and wish you to do so with much joy and strength."
We appreciate this good News and wish Sr. Márian the blessing of the Triune God.
