In the year 2016, the Sisters Rosiléa and Maristela took over the responsibility for the implementation of the Latin American project "Culture of vocation" in their Province.
They launched the project in May. The meetings included moments of reflection on the biblical text with the parable of the sower (Matthew 13, 1-9), as well as planting some seeds.
The second stage was carried out now in December. For this, a meeting was organized in the various regions of the Province (in Florianópolis, Trindade, Tijucas, Blumenau and Tubarão). Each sister and community was invited to a calm and solemn morning or afternoon. The topic of this meeting was: "collecting the seeds“. The inspiring Bible text was 1 Corinthians 3, 5-9: "The image of the pastoral worker".
The meeting was a good opportunity to share about our dual vocation – the vocation of life and of religious life as Sister of Providence - as well as sharing, experiencing and celebrating the way of the Province, and to thank God for it. This all happened in a contemplative way through the common liturgy of the hours, but also in a relaxed way through different plays of and about the congregation. The atmosphere was one of gratitude, recreation and joy.
Every meeting closed with a common meal to which all brought their contribution.
