The Province of the Most Holy Trinity shared the General Chapter report, on November 12, 13 and 14, on online mode, thus providing the participation of all communities, giving opportunity to all the Sisters and making themselves present. The sharing took place in three stages. The first: “On the way to Bethany”; the second, “At Bethany's house”, and third, “Sent from Bethany”.
On the first day, “On the way to Bethany” was worked on. We remember the mystique that ran through the entire Chapter, with the illumination of the Prayer Readings guided by the theological advisor, Sister Annette Havenne ism; the syntheses of the text of the realities of Latin America, Africa, Germany and Indonesia, the prayer was the “disciple puts on his shoes”.
On the second day, “In the house of Bethany”, the historical path of the updated Constitutions and the courage of the General Coordination in this undertaking so demanding for the Congregation was presented. As a gateway to the House of Bethany, the canonical adviser Padre Leonello Leidi cp, presented a text, in which he said: “The charism is like a precious pearl, of rare qualities of purity and splendor, the Constitutions are the shell that involves you”.
On the third day “Sent from Bethany”, the Chapter's decisions and recommendations were presented.
In closing, Sister Beatriz Zanatta, Provincial Superior, recalled God's provident care for our Congregation. The Chapter happened when, in Asia and Europe, the pandemic was already expanding -with Covid 19. The Chapter ended, the Sisters travelled and soon, in early March, the virus arrived in Curitiba, demanding social isolation.
