From September 7-9, 2017, the meeting of the Junior Sisters and those that had up to 12 years Final Vows took place in Curitiba/PR/Brazil, together with the General Coordination. This meeting was a wish and fulfilled a commitment of the young sisters, who had gathered in Germany in the year 2015. The sisters wanted to meet each other, come together to have a dialogue with the General Coordination, and receive an advice from them for their onward journey.
31 sisters took part in the meeting: 7 sisters from the Province of Curitiba, 6 from the Province of Florianópolis, 8 from the Province of Porto Alegre, 4 from the Province of Cuiabá and 2 from the Region of Montes Claros. In addition also Sr. Maria Eloní of the team Aliança and 3 Sisters from the General Coordination: Lucia Weiler, Maria Rita Xavier Mendes and Márian Ambrosio.
As Latin American sisters, we are present in Brazil, Paraguay, Bolivia and Mozambique. Young sisters from Indonesia, Germany and Malawi, as well as candidates from Mozambique were included in the meeting through their messages and sharing their mission. This strengthened the internationality and the union with the reality of our sisters in entire congregation.
Many experiences were of great importance and shaped the life of the participating sisters, such as: deepening of various contents through the advice of Sr. Márian - General Coordinator, moments of personal prayer and in the group, the sharing in small groups, the joy at the cultural evening with biblical women, Eucharistic Celebration in the parish community, dialogue with the General Coordination, proposals for the future, the hymn and the T-Shirt made for this meeting.
